On 14 May Ch Murdoch had the honor of being the Presiding Official at the Retirement Ceremony and Worship Service for Ch, Maj Kevin G. Browne, USAF. The service was held in the chapel at F.E. After 32 years of military service, CDR Gerald Hamblin (CHC, USNR) has retired. A retirement ceremony was held April 10 at the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery in Washington, D.C., where Hamblin served as the senior reserve chaplain. Along with family and friends in attendance were personnel from his various duty assignments, including the senior reserve chaplain for the Navy, Chaplain Admiral David Stinson. Chaplain (MAJ) Michael Crawford, IAARNG has been activated and is serving in Boone, Iowa ministering to Iowa National Guard soldiers who are returning from deployments and with soldiers who are preparing to deploy.
