On 14 May Ch Murdoch had the honor of being the Presiding Official at the Retirement Ceremony and Worship Service for Ch, Maj Kevin G. Browne, USAF.  The service was held in the chapel at F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Ch Browne’s son, sisters and niece were among those in attendance. Ronald Faith, pastor of Evangel Baptist Church, Hagerstown, Md., is the Regular Baptist Chaplaincy’s newest Air National Guard chaplain. He has been assigned to the 167th Air National Guard in Martinsburg, W.V.

Recently Chaplain John Murdoch had the privilege of speaking at Evangel Baptist Church and then conducting an endorsing visit to the 167th. Ch Hamblin, USNR, Retires

After 32 years of military service, CDR Gerald Hamblin (CHC, USNR) has retired. A retirement ceremony was held April 10 at the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery in Washington, D.C., where Hamblin served as the senior reserve chaplain. Along with family and friends in attendance were personnel from his various duty assignments, including the senior reserve chaplain for the Navy, Chaplain Admiral David Stinson. Chaplain Murdoch had the privilege of representing the GARBC as well as singing the national anthem.…

Iowa National Guard Support Chaplain

Chaplain (MAJ) Michael Crawford, IAARNG has been activated and is serving in Boone, Iowa ministering to Iowa National Guard soldiers who are returning from deployments and with soldiers who are preparing to deploy.  In a recent visit Ch Murdoch was able to observe Ch Crawford as he ministered to the troops and was able to get a briefing on Chaplain Crawford’s ministry.  Counseling and travel are a large part of his ministry along with ministering to families left behind.  Suicide…
